Babita Sridhar is a Singapore-based contemporary artist and co-founder of Boundless Art Gallery. Working across oils, acrylics, charcoal, spray paint, and mixed media, she builds her canvases intuitively and in layers, abstract grounds laid first, spontaneous and unplanned, from which figurative forms slowly emerge. Koi navigating open water. Sea turtles mid-pause. A betta turning toward light.
These creatures of quiet endurance are not simply her subjects, they are emotional proxies for how we move through life: adapting, pausing, enduring, yet deeply alive. Her paintings sit at the meeting point of inner life and outer journey: the uncertainty of transition, the courage to adapt, and the slow work of becoming who we're meant to be.
Her current body of work “Water & Light”, reflects a quieter evolution moving beyond survival into presence, awareness, and self-reclamation. Through it, she invites viewers to pause and reconnect with parts of themselves often buried beneath expectation, routine, and noise.
Born in India and based in Singapore, Babita spent eighteen years in corporate IT before turning to art full-time. She has exhibited across Singapore and internationally, including World Art Dubai (2024, 2025, 2026), The Other Art Fair Los Angeles (2026), and Affordable Art Fair Hong Kong (2026). Her work is held in private collections across Singapore, Australia, South Africa, the Middle East, Los Angeles, and Hong Kong.
In 2025, she co-founded Boundless Art Gallery, a contemporary gallery championing meaningful, emotionally resonant art, where she now brings the same instinct for depth and quiet transformation to championing the work of others.

My underwater series tells this deeper story; of what shifts beneath the surface, even when nothing seems to move on the outside. These works are created for spaces which remind us of the quiet stories we carry.
